‘Unabashedly luxurious’: John Laws’ art and antiquities collection up for auction
The estate of legendary Australian broadcaster John Laws, who died in November 2025 aged 90, is auctioning his multimillion-dollar art and antiquities collection through Bonhams Australia. The 600 lots include Chinese antiquities, Art Deco glass, Australian paintings and luxury objects. Major gifts have been donated to the Art Gallery of NSW and Powerhouse Museum, including Laws' iconic gold-plated microphone.
