Coles has been caught red-handed. But don’t discount this pricing loophole
Federal Court Justice Michael O'Bryan ruled Thursday that Coles engaged in misleading conduct by inflating prices before discounting them under its "Down Down" promotion. The judge found 13 of 14 examples violated consumer law because products weren't sold at higher prices for the required 12 weeks.
