ABC terminates Four Corners reporter over undisclosed casino-sponsored podcast appearance
Four Corners reporter Mahmood Fazal's employment with the ABC has been terminated following an investigation into his appearance on an external podcast sponsored by an online casino. ABC managing director Hugh Marks told Senate estimates Thursday the investigation found it inappropriate for Fazal to participate without disclosing the gambling sponsorship.
