Twelve police killed in car bomb and shootout in northwest Pakistan
A car bombing at a police post in northwestern Pakistan followed by an ambush on police rushing to the scene to provide back-up has killed at least 12 officers. Images after the attack on Saturday showed the structure had been reduced to rubble, with bricks, charred wreckage and mangled vehicles scattered around.
