Writer Nikki Goldstein recovers from coma after rabbi's shofar blessing during ICU
Sydney writer Nikki Goldstein was comatose with a life-threatening infection when Rabbi Eli Schlanger blew his shofar outside her ICU room in 2012. Within twenty-four hours, her lungs began to repair and she recovered. Schlanger was killed in the 2015 Bondi Beach massacre, but their friendship yielded a book, "Conversations with My Rabbi," launched.
