Drag performer La Voix makes musical theatre debut in Annie production
Chris Dennis, the drag performer known as La Voix, is making his musical theatre debut as Miss Hannigan in Annie after 130 cruise ship performances. The "northern powerhouse" character, influenced by Ken Dodd and Paul O'Grady, has appeared on RuPaul's Drag Race, Strictly Come Dancing, and Eurovision. Dennis first performed in drag as Karen Carpenter in hotpants at primary school.
