Burke confirms IS families ‘have made plans’ to come to Australia
Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke confirmed that 13 Australians, including four women and nine children, linked to Islamic State have made plans to return from a Syrian camp. The group has been stranded in northern Syria since the caliphate's collapse. Burke said law enforcement agencies have prepared for their return since 2014 and will prosecute anyone who committed crimes.
