Neale Daniher, AFL great and MND campaigner, dies at 65
Former AFL player and coach Neale Daniher has died at 65, thirteen years after his motor neurone disease diagnosis. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese delivered a condolence motion in parliament Monday, praising Daniher's "selflessness, bravery and fierce determination to make a difference for others." Daniher played for Essendon alongside his three brothers and captained the club in 1982.
