Leone Film Group is developing an origins movie about director Sergio Leone's decades-long struggle to create "Once Upon a Time in America," the 1984 Cannes premiere now regarded as a masterpiece. Italian directors Giuseppe Stasi and Giancarlo Fontana will helm the project, which spans Rome, New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Cannes across multiple time periods.
