Sydney couple fleeced bank of more than $40m, police allege
A Sydney couple was arrested Tuesday on charges of facilitating over $40 million in fraud for the Penthouse Syndicate, one of Australia's largest fraud rings. Huy Tin Nguyen, a former NAB employee, and his wife Thu Huong Nguyen face multiple counts including dishonestly obtaining financial benefits through deception.
