Sydney Swans defender Will Edwards worked as a funeral director before making his AFL debut last month. The 23-year-old, nearly two metres tall, joined Walker Funerals in 2022 while playing in the Swans Academy, often heading to training immediately after shifts. Edwards was drafted in 2023 and debuted against Western Bulldogs in April after recovering from multiple injuries.
