Latvian PM resigns after row over stray Ukrainian drones
Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina resigned Thursday after firing her Defence Minister over the government's handling of Ukrainian drones that crashed in eastern Latvia on May 7. The Progressives party withdrew coalition support in protest, collapsing the government months before October elections. President Edgars Rinkevics will decide on forming a new government by May 15.
