Iran war leaves Qantas suppliers ‘nervous’ amid high jet fuel prices
Qantas suppliers are "nervous" about purchasing excess aviation fuel at elevated prices after the Iran conflict reduced international flights to Australia by roughly 20 percent, CEO Vanessa Hudson said Tuesday. The airline faces approximately $700 million in extra fuel costs for the second half, pushing total fuel expenses to $3.3 billion from a previously forecast $2.5 billion.
