NSW short-changed by Chalmers on key infrastructure funding
NSW will receive $1217 per capita in federal road funding through mid-2030, less than Queensland's $2272 per person and South Australia's $3647. The $10.8 billion allocation represents 28 percent of Australia's $38.7 billion road investment program. Premier Chris Minns has criticized the federal government's infrastructure distribution alongside ongoing GST funding disparities favoring other states.
