Gibraltar dumping all of its raw sewage into Mediterranean
Gibraltar has discharged raw sewage from nearly 40,000 people directly into the Mediterranean for decades without a treatment plant. The British territory's government blamed the seawater-based sewerage system for past delays, though a 2017 EU court ruled the UK in breach of environmental.
