Treasury official charged over alleged data breach involving thousands of government documents
A 45-year-old NSW Treasury official was charged on Monday over an alleged data breach involving over 5,600 sensitive documents. Police arrested the man after launching an investigation into the incident, executing a search warrant in Homebush West. NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey stated that all allegedly stolen data has been located and secured.
