Gold Coast nurse charged with sexual assault and stalking denied bail
Gold Coast nurse Derek George Jackson, 58, was denied bail after being charged with 12 offences, including sexual assault and stalking of teenage patients. Police allege he preyed on six girls receiving mental health treatment between 2020 and 2025. Jackson was arrested at Brisbane International Airport while attempting to flee to China for dental.
