Race to trace passengers who left hantavirus cruise ship at island
Health authorities are tracing dozens of passengers who disembarked from the hantavirus-infected MV Hondius at St Helena on April 24. The Dutch cruise ship operator reported 29 passengers left while the Dutch government cited 40, including a 69-year-old woman who died in South Africa. The WHO has confirmed three hantavirus cases and identified five suspected cases among those aboard.
