Melbourne woman charged with terrorism offences after returning from Syria
A 34-year-old Melbourne woman has been charged with terrorism offences after returning from Syria, where she allegedly joined ISIS between 2013 and 2014. She returned to Australia on September 26 from Lebanon and faces charges of entering a declared area and terrorist organization membership, each carrying a maximum 10-year sentence. The charges follow search warrants in Broadmeadows and Fitzroy North.
