NSW students were taught ‘resilience’. It didn’t help
An NSW Health study tracked over 2,000 high school students from year 7 to 10 and found broad school resilience programs failed to improve fruit and vegetable consumption or exercise levels. Schools received $2,000 in funding and nine hours of annual resilience lessons per student, yet showed no difference compared to schools without the programs.
