Cruise passengers master authentic pesto making in Italy with traditional technique

Seven MSC Yacht Club passengers learned authentic pesto making in Rapallo, Italy, from chef Michele De Mattia on Tuesday. The secret: crush rock salt, garlic and pine nuts first, add basil last, never pound the basil, and use twice as much parmesan as pecorino.
