Efficacy of listed medicines for exercise performance
Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration reviewed 21 listed medicines containing magnesium and found only five had sufficient evidence supporting exercise performance claims. Of the 16 medicines with inadequate evidence, ten were cancelled and withdrawn from the market while six remained available with claims removed. One sponsor received four infringement notices.
