Italy's highest court ruled Thursday that a five-star Dolomites hotel acted lawfully by refusing to provide free tap water to a tourist. The woman sought 2,700 euros in compensation after a waiter offered only 7-euro bottled water at Hotel Sassongher in Corvara during 2019. The Supreme Court found Italian law does not mandate venues provide complimentary tap water to guests.
