Tom Cruise returns as Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell in Top Gun 3
Paramount announced at CinemaCon that Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell in a third Top Gun movie, currently in development. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that screenwriter Ehren Kruger is also attached to the project. The prior installment, Top Gun: Maverick, grossed over $1.4 billion worldwide.
