Benjamin Luke Johnston, identified as the sniper who killed bikie boss Nick Martin in December 2020, has lifted a court suppression order. Johnston, a trained marksman serving 20 years, shot Martin from 365 meters away during a drag racing event in Perth. The assassination was orchestrated by David James Pye, who awaits sentencing.
