Two-thirds of Victoria Park to stay green, with warm-up track site revealed
Queensland Premier David Crisafulli announced Thursday that two-thirds of Victoria Park will remain green space when the Brisbane Stadium is built, following federal environmental approval. The Olympic warm-up track will be located southeast of the 63,000-seat stadium. Excavation work can now commence, with the Games authority taking possession of the park June 1.
