Woolworths brings back soft plastics recycling
Woolworths has expanded soft plastic recycling to over 700 stores across five Australian states, more than three years after the REDcycle scheme collapsed. The initiative accepts chip packets and lolly wrappers, with collected plastic recycled into in-store products. Since 2024, the program has processed 310,000 kilograms of soft plastic.
