Man charged with murder after beating elderly dog walker with metal pole
A 36-year-old Bundaberg West man was charged with murder after allegedly beating a 78-year-old dog walker to death with a metal pole on Whitebridge Road near Childers, Queensland on Wednesday. Police say he struck the elderly man in the head and hit him with the pole about 2:38pm.
