Council exec created job filled by unqualified former colleague, ICAC hears
A senior City of Parramatta executive directly appointed an unqualified former colleague to a newly created position, the ICAC heard Tuesday. Angela Jones-Blayney filled the manager-level role with Michelle Carter from City of Ryde despite a recruitment panel finding Carter unsuitable. The inquiry is investigating whether Jones-Blayney and others intentionally subverted recruitment practices to benefit associates.
