‘Thankful to be alive’: Zumba instructor accused of killing girlfriend faces new
Handwritten notes by a US citizen, in which she said she was “thankful to be alive”, have been read to a jury as part of a second trial for her accused killer. Mark Sheridan Waden is facing trial for allegedly murdering his then-girlfriend, Priscilla Brooten, a former beauty queen in the US before she moved to Australia in 2005.
