Big-bellied crocodile airlifted to solve mystery of missing man
South African authorities shot and airlifted a 15-foot crocodile from the Komati River after finding human remains inside its belly. A ring believed to belong to hotelier Gabriel Batista, 59, was discovered in the 500-kilogram reptile's stomach along with severed arms and rib fragments. Batista disappeared during floodwaters a week earlier; DNA tests will confirm the identification.
