ABC News boss unaware he was being replaced, managing director says
ABC boss Hugh Marks says news chief Justin Stevens wasn’t aware the public broadcaster was in the process of replacing him before his surprise resignation last month. Speaking to Radio National Breakfast on Tuesday morning, Marks said Stevens resigned, but his exit was “inevitable” after the pair had disagreed on the right direction for Australia’s largest newsroom.
