Parramatta’s ‘Pink Ladies’ plotted council restructure while on holiday together, ICAC hears
An anti-corruption inquiry heard Wednesday that Parramatta Council's former chief executive Gail Connolly and two colleagues, dubbed the "Pink Ladies," allegedly manipulated staff recruitment to benefit allies. Chief of staff Justin Mulder testified that Connolly removed him from his role after Roxanne Thornton, who planned a council restructure during a holiday, was positioned to take his position.
