Neale Daniher, legendary AFL coach and MND advocate, dies at 65
Neale Daniher, legendary Australian Rules Football coach and motor neurone disease warrior, died Monday at age 65 after a 13-year battle with MND. The 2025 Australian of the Year defied medical expectations when doctors gave him two years to live in 2013. Daniher founded FightMND and the Big Freeze fundraiser, which raised over $100 million for research.
