Endangered frogs no bigger than a paper clip released into the wild
More than 800 northern corroboree frogs, each no bigger than a paperclip, were released into Brindabella National Park in southern NSW to bolster the critically endangered species. The frogs, weighing 2-3 grams and bred at Sydney's Taronga Zoo, were released in a program designed to protect against a deadly chytrid fungus that decimates amphibians.
