Living on idyllic headland poses health problems for mob of kangaroos
Half of the kangaroos at Look At Me Now Headland on the NSW Mid North Coast are suffering from anaemia due to chronic malnutrition. Researchers from the University of Sydney and NSW National Parks are studying the isolated population, which has seen a decrease in anaemia prevalence from 75 to 55 percent since implementing contraceptive measures.
