Plans for zipline over Brisbane River win state backing
Queensland's state government committed $2.1 million Wednesday to develop a giant zipline spanning the Brisbane River from Kangaroo Point to the City Botanic Gardens. The 400-metre crossing would travel 70-75 kilometers per hour and cost under $100 per ride, with developer John Sharpe aiming for completion before the October 2027 Rugby World.
