Council exec created job filled by unqualified former colleague, ICAC hears
A senior City of Parramatta executive directly appointed an unqualified former colleague to a position she created, the ICAC heard Tuesday. Angela Jones-Blayney appointed Michelle Carter despite a recruitment panel finding Carter unsuitable for the manager role. The Independent Commission Against Corruption is investigating whether Jones-Blayney and colleagues intentionally subverted recruitment practices to benefit associates.
