Two-thirds of Victoria Park to stay green, with warm-up track site revealed
Queensland Premier David Crisafulli announced Thursday that two-thirds of Victoria Park will remain parkland when the Brisbane Stadium is built, with federal environmental approval securing the project timeline. The Olympic warm-up track will be positioned southeast of the stadium. Construction can commence immediately, with the Games authority taking possession of the site June 1.
