Georgia rugby captain Merab Sharikadze receives longest 11-year doping ban
Georgia's former rugby captain Merab Sharikadze received an 11-year ban on Wednesday for his role in a urine-swapping doping scandal, the longest suspension handed to any of six players and one official caught in World Rugby's investigation. Sharikadze's clean urine was used by other players three times in 2022 and 2023.
