Police officers killed during search warrant execution at suspect's home
Police investigating an alleged child sexual assault executed a search warrant at Dezi Freeman's home in August, which ended with him shooting dead two Victorian officers. Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson, 59, and Senior Constable Vadim De Waart-Hottart, 35, were killed at Porepunkah. Freeman died after being shot by police during a manhunt in March.
