Rueben Bain Jr. was involved in a fatal accident on March 17, 2024, while driving a Land Rover SUV. The crash resulted in the death of 22-year-old Destiny Betts, who succumbed to her injuries on June 13 after nearly three months in a coma. Bain, projected as a first-round NFL Draft pick, received a citation that was later dropped.
