Sajid Akram, who carried out Australia's worst terror attack at Bondi last December with his son Naveed, was an unusually secretive man who deceived family and intelligence services alike. Years before the massacre, Akram told relatives he wanted a gun licence for hunting, later using the same cover story while practicing target shooting on a rural property west of Sydney.
