Netflix orders series adaptation of Yale Fertility Center scandal podcast
Netflix ordered a series adaptation of the New York Times and Serial Productions podcast "The Retrievals" during its Wednesday upfront presentation. Molly Smith Metzler serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner for the show, which follows women who underwent procedures without anesthesia after a nurse stole fentanyl at Yale Fertility Center. Metzler previously created Netflix hits "Maid" and "Sirens.".
