State appeals ‘manifestly inadequate’ youth sentences for IGA attack
Queensland's state government on Wednesday appealed four youth sentences in an assault case, calling them "manifestly inadequate." Teens aged 14-17 attacked IGA store owner Shane Kensett in Dicky Beach last August, leaving him with a fractured nose and concussion.
