Safe sex decline: Teenage condom use hits 30-year low
Condom use among Australian teenagers has fallen to a 30-year low, with only half of sexually active teens using them despite 80 percent having access, a La Trobe University study found. The survey of 4,400 secondary students aged 14 to 18 revealed just 45 percent found school sexuality education relevant, with one in 10 relying on withdrawal as contraception.
