NSW Education minister takes tough stance as 42,000 students are suspended across
Bullying, cyberbullying and violence helped drive more than 42,000 student suspensions in NSW last year under tougher school behaviour policies. New figures obtained by The Sunday Telegraph show 42,016 students were suspended across the state’s public schools in 2025, including 31,551 secondary students and 10,465 primary school students.
