Fugitive arrested over death of Alice Springs girl
Jefferson Lewis, 47, was arrested Thursday night in Alice Springs after five days on the run following the death of a five-year-old girl from the town. The child's body was discovered Wednesday near Todd River, about five kilometers south of Old Timers Aboriginal Town Camp where she vanished Saturday.
