Donald Gibb, "Revenge of the Nerds" star, dies from throat cancer at
"Revenge of the Nerds" actor Donald Gibb died Tuesday at his Texas home from throat cancer, his family confirmed. His son Travis told TMZ that Gibb requested cremation, with ashes dispersal and service details to remain private. The 64-year-old became a cult icon playing "Ogre" in the 1980s film and its sequels.
