March Madness tournaments to expand to 76 teams from next season
The NCAA announced Thursday it will expand March Madness tournaments to 76 teams each starting next season, adding eight teams per bracket. The 12 new opening-round games will precede the traditional 64-team brackets beginning Thursday for men and Friday for women.
